“Any time we do the work of love, we end the work of domination.” — Bell Hooks
Join us for an evening of song-filled ritual aimed at unleashing more love into the world – beginning within ourselves!
The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of trauma healing teaches that, like ecosystems, each person is a complex system made of many parts. Some, like “the achiever” are highly valued; others like “the controller” or “the addict” are not. Yet all our parts - even those with extreme roles - mean well. They simply need our care and attention to heal and reclaim their life-enhancing role.
To this end, our ritual gathering will employ the power of song and embodiment to hold these exiled places within and to free our soul-force towards creating a more compassionate world.
May this ritual of radical self-love ripple out widely in service to life!
